Welcome to the world of Holden!

Who doesn't love the Commodore huh?

Commodore!!!
On a daily basis, your average, run of the mill grandma will always be the first to hate on the Commodore... Quick to point out its many and extensive design faults and also quick to point her middle finger upwards (in a well designed manner) when she sees one driving down the high street... Many a discussion around the bingo table on a Tuesday night, is centered around Holden's most infamous model... Their searing collective breath of fire is fierce enough to melt even the most well seasoned veteran bingo balls... and cook the "half a cow" prize sitting in a wheelbarrow, decaying slowly in clear cellophane and guarded by armed CHUB security personnel at the front of the stage...

But what grandma wont tell you is that secretly... she loves them!! She loves the Commodore. She has very fond memories of the VB model circa 1978, when she

Oh no Mr.Holmes, the VB broke down..
went on her first ski trip, with some guy she met at the supermarket who claimed to have just got back from Korea. Nothing gets grandma's adrenalin flowing like the thrill of a Commodore sideways into the driveway.  The smell of freshly melted rubber still burning as it hits the pavement! Yes, underneath that crude, well hardened exterior shell...

Grandma rox it hard!

Falcon's are for Viagra addicts yo!!!

On the other hand... Your mother will never lie to you... There's no hidden agenda when she tells you that your custom repaired Walkinshaw body kit looks ridiculous on the VY you just bought... There's no hidden meaning when she scoffs at the colour coded gaffer tape holding it on... There's no wires crossed when she says to you... "If you get pulled over by the @$*&$* cops... just tell them that you're totally off your head on crack but you never inhaled..."

Yes, mummy hates Commodores and there's no butts about it... She is on the other hand... quite happy putting pedestrians lives at risk driving her 4WD around town..with one kid in the back... I'd vote for a superior intellect like that...
