Everybody loves a good Commodore!!

It's always been a favourable tradition of car manufacturers to showcase their new designs and releases, set amongst natural outdoor settings. Beach scenes with beautiful young, happy people with grandiose smiles that stretch for miles. Sitting on the car, watching the waves roll in and just playing on our desire for an everlasting youthful exuberance.

A car standing majestically on a mountainside, soaring high above the world, looking down onto snow covered hills.. whispering to us softly with it's chrome covered widgets, "I'm a cut above the rest..." and of course, who could forget the shot of a sleek, sexy, two door sports model, caught momentarily on film floating down an endless highway that disappears lazily into the horizon... So beautiful are these cars, so obtainable... it's as if one could just reach out and touch them and feel the power they in case within their bodywork... and without any doubt... these cars, will make all our desires, all our dreams and all our hopes come true! Or will they?

In the case of the Holden Commodore... when they release an advertising campaign that showcases the latest model in the middle of a highway, or by the roadside... it's not so much to make it look sexy, desirable, sleek, sophisticated or even a provider of the most basic of desirable freedoms... it's just a premonition of things to come...

Welcome to Commodore Breakdown Dot Com.

View the breakdowns I've caught on cam...

Disclaimer: Some of you may ask 'what constitutes a breakdown?' and not just a car on the side of the road... well, I'm going to put it this way... Any Commodore on the side of the road represents a 99% chance that it is the result of a mechanical malfunction... either it's the car malfunctioning or the driver... so either way... IT'S A BREAKDOWN!! Thankyou...
